Frequently Asked Questions
Will Little Dinosaur work on all walls?
No, it depends on the texture. We recommend smooth surfaces. If your wall is rough, bumpy or newly painted, the products may not adhere properly. Little Dinosaur is not responsible if items applied to a bumpy texture do not stick. Wipe your walls down with a dry cloth to remove any dust or those cobwebs hanging out in the corner.
I recently painted my walls, how long should I wait before applying my products?
If you recently painted your walls, stop now. Do not apply the products to your walls for at least 2 weeks, or even 3 if its cold and damp (or humid) outside. If you apply the decals before the paint is fully cured, the items will either have trouble adhering to the wall or the adhesive will dry to the paint and when you remove the decals, paint may come off with the decals.
Will Little Dinosaur products adhere to textured surfaces?
We recommend smooth surfaces. Even lightly textured surfaces such as orange peel texture can prevent the tabs from adhering. Little Dinosaur is not responsible if wall decor applied to a bumpy texture does not stick.
Removing the products
If you ever want to remove Little Dinosaur products, use a flat bladed knife or metal spatula along the back of the product. If there is tape left on your wall, rub it a little with your thumb and it will peel off quite easily. Eucalyptus oil or heat from a hairdryer to soften the tape before removal. If you are too aggressive or pull to sharply, there is a risk that you could snap the product or damage the paint so be careful!
Will they leave a residue when removed? Or take off the paint?
No, our products should not leave any goo on your wall when removed. Since we cannot guarantee the condition of all wall surfaces, we cannot say across the board that some paint flecking will not occur. You may notice paint flecks on the back of the sticky tabs when removed and some minor paint touch up may be required.
Repairs
If you do break or snap our products, they can be easily repaired using water based craft glue and touched up using any acrylic paint. Do not use superglue or enamel paint as this will melt the foam inner.
Cleaning
For best results, we suggest that you clean the products with a hairdryer on a cool setting to blow away any dust or a damp sponge can be effective also.

WHAT KIND OF PINS CAN I USE WITH LITTLE DINOSAUR PIN BOARDS?
Any kind! Dressmakers pins, drawing pins, or gripper pins. The high density foam is very forgiving and our boards are quite hard wearing. Naturally, the kind of pattern you order may affect the longevity of your pin board and pins with narrower shafts will be less abrasive on the fabric fascia which will help the board last longer too.
