What materials do we use?
Most of our products are made of a recycled foam substrate. Some of our products are hard coated, and some are made of wood.
At Little Dinosaur, our products are hand painted using 100% non toxic, acrylic low sheen paint. Little Dinosaur products are proudly Australian made.
Our Design Service
Little Dinosaur offers an exclusive service to its clients. With any purchase, we offer interior design advice. Our designer has well over a decade of experience in the interior design industry. If you need any help at any stage along the way to plan or design your space, we're there to help you.
Installing Little Dinosaur products
Here are some tips on how to install our products effectively.
- Please make sure that your wall is dry and clean, and dust free. If your walls have been recently painted, please allow 4-6 weeks for your paint to cure before attaching the cut outs to your wall.
- Handle the products with care. It's a good idea to use to use blu-tack to get your layout right before you attach the cut outs. This way, if you change your mind and want to move them, it can be done quickly and easily before securing them in place with the supplied tape.
- Remove the backing from the double sided tabs and push the item to the wall pressing lightly with your palms.
Our designs are 3D!
The designs are dimensional pieces that are from 2cm to 4cm thick and provide a great dimensional feel when installed. As you walk around the room, the dimensional quality becomes more apparent, it’s a 3D effect.
Our designs come packaged carefully to protect them during transit and each package has all that you need to install the products including instructions and adhesive strips etc.

Removing the products
If you ever want to remove Little Dinosaur products, use a flat bladed knife or metal spatula along the back of the product. If there is tape left on your wall, rub it a little with your thumb and it will peel off quite easily. Eucalyptus oil or heat from a hairdryer to soften the tape before removal. If you are too aggressive or pull to sharply, there is a risk that you could snap the product or damage the paint so be careful!
Repairs
If you do break our products cleanly, they can be easily repaired using craft glue and touched up using any acrylic paint. Do not use superglue or enamel paint as this will melt the product.
Cleaning
For best results, we suggest that you use a hairdryer on a cool setting to blow away any dust or a damp sponge can be effective also.
